Beautiful photos

There are many beautiful areas in the Fox Valley that could make the perfect background setting for your wedding day photos. Parks, flower gardens and shore line scenery can create a magical effect. You may need to ask permission before using some areas but your efforts will be well worth it. Below is a list of locations you may want to check out.

The Paine Art Center and Gardens invites you to a garden sanctuary surrounding an elegant mansion. It is a place where roses are reflected in a calm pool while ornamental grasses dance in the wind. Vines wind around a stunning pergola. Unusual plants of varied colors and textures create fantastic planters.

Pierce Park, also located in Appleton has large mature trees and grassy hill settings. Don't worry about calling ahead, the park is open to the public.

Sunset Park in Kimberly has bridged walkways and long tree lines. Perfect for larger groups and fall weddings.

Menominee Park in Oshkosh also has mature trees and a beautiful shore line. It is a very large park with many different scenic areas. Beware of Seagulls and geese.

Smith Park in Menasha has many beautiful backgrounds with flowers, a gazebo, and bridges. The bridges are on the north side of Keys Street, while the flowers and gazebo are on the south side of Keys. You can even have your wedding ceremony there. Try it, you will like it.

Doty park in Neenah (near Theda Clark Hospital) is a great location for outdoor wedding pictures. It has great flower and water backgrounds, along with a gazebo and stone bridges. July and August are the best months for pictures because the flowers are in full bloom. Just watch out for the goose droppings.

Secura Insurance, located on Memorial Dr., in Appleton is an absolutely beautiful place to take your photos. They have many trees, flower gardens, and a pond with water fountains to use as backdrops. Make sure you call in advance for permission.
