There are endless options to decide upon for the perfect wedding ceremony location. You're dream site may be the church you belong to, an outdoor location or any site that you think is special. It is important to keep in mind that many of the best locations are booked well in advance. Choosing your wedding site needs to be your first task.
Locations to choose from for your ceremony include churches, historical sites, gardens, chapels, yachts, backyards or someone's home. Remember, if you choose an outdoor site you will need to have an alternative plan just incase of rain.
You most likely will want to celebrate your wedding vows after your ceremony. There are numerous locations in the Fox Valley that are available for you reception. Hotels, restaurants, banquet halls, and private clubs are among some of the typical locations for receptions.
There are several things to consider when choosing both locations. Enough space for dancing or food set up is important. Also, inquire about other ceremonies or parties that may be taking place at the same location. You do not want other's noise to be a distraction. Take time to consider the lighting. Determine if there is enough lighting and if it can be controlled. Permission may be needed for the use of candles.
Your reception location will need seating for your number of guests with easy set-up for dining, dancing, and socializing. Make sure there is an ample power supply for the music, photographer or videographer.
Make time to become familiar with your catering manager, or banquet hall host. This will help ensure a smooth running event.
